Review: The Walking Dead Season 8 Episode 7 “Time For After”

Once again fractured and without a clear sense of purpose, ‘The Walking Dead’ believes Eugene’s plight and decision regarding his loyalties are of immense interest to the audience. Unfortunately, with Eugene’s relevance becoming increasingly tested and redundant as more consequential stories take place such as Darryl’s action against the Sanctuary, the show’s focus is lost and disorderly. Nothing here is particularly compelling. Even Rick’s gladiatorial like match runs low on tension as the concept of him dying to such underwhelming characters is ridiculous. ‘The Walking Dead’, once again in a matter of trying to fill in episodes before the mid-season finale, finds itself lost and pointless. 4.2/10
