Review: Mr. Robot Season 3 Episode 7 “eps3.6_fredrick+tanya.chk”

As Whiterose’s master plan continues to be teased, a few slithers of delicious and extremely satisfying information are disposed here, which richly contribute to the show’s overall direction. It’s lucky, as otherwise this episode spends too long going over the past without much thematic link, and meandering about a point that is predictably resolved by the end; who takes the blame. The writers, however, do an excellent job in further reinforcing the concept of ideology and fanaticism consuming initial beliefs and action. The revolution is stolen by Whiterose, as fsociety and its followers become pawns. While the focus on Trenton and Mobley signals this false understanding and faith, I hope the show explores the reaction of fsociety’s followers to the magnitude of events. 7.9/10
