Review: Fear The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 11 “La Serpiente”

In the stark change of pace to earlier episodes, Fear The Walking Dead promotes a complex, thought-provoking ideological debate surrounding the moral duty those in power have to the people, and the role of emotion in influencing this. It does go on slightly too long, dominating the narrative, but with a number of excellently directed sequences, including the marvellously tense sewer crawl, the episode never loses breath. I hope the show doesn’t suddenly place full focus back on the ranch but instead create a trade-like relationship with the dam, to further explore such a partnership over a vital resource in the apocalyptic world. 8.4/10
