Review: Fear The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 9 “Minotaur”

The state of uneasy normalcy is excellently portrayed throughout this episode, depicting what is seen as common in the new world. The division and tension that is still present even in places attempting to be harmonious is a universal theme, applicable outside of the apocalypse genre. However, while it is certainly pertinent here, it doesn’t raise any new ideas this series hasn’t already covered, and besides providing pay-off to some character arcs, the theme feels rather stale. Nick’s reveal is also too earlier to have emotional weight, while Troy’s fate was predictable. This concept of diplomatic survival will be interesting to see now, but the show will need to provide some new ideas as well. 7.5/10
