Review: Fear The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 6 “Red Dirt”

Despite some awkward pacing where slow, discussion heavy sequences are interspersed within quickly evolving narratives, the simmering tension and family drama that arises feels both authentic and compelling due to the well written Otto family. Madison’s continual manipulation and mercilessness does come across abrupt as her trials and upset from Travis’ death has never really sunk in with the audience. Yet the stirring silence that this episode proposes and wider political and social issues it looks to confront makes the coming entries seem like exciting endeavours. 8.3/10
