Review: Sense8 Season 2 Episode 11 “You Want A War?”

Despite excellent direction, choreography and a general cinematic technical quality, this finale lacks both the emotional punch, organic storytelling and focus to make it memorable. Instead the writers use contrived circumstances to bring the sensate togethers, yet no true gratification is ever created. The overarching narrative suddenly is remembered and bolstered into centre stage, but it is so rushed that again, no real tension, excitement or enthusiasm is generated. It may be great to see the group work as one, with a few nice small twists, but due to the show’s fragmented storytelling, none of it hits home. 6.8/10
