Review: Fear The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 3 “TEOTWAWKI”

There is a disturbingly relaxed tone to this episode that seeps in from the introduction. The Walking Dead franchise has frequently shown the evil that lays beneath but this episode’s great balance of three key storylines highlighted a series of differing perspectives that all resonated due to strong writing and performances. The new characters intertwined within them continue to be excellently developed, especially the brothers who are twisted in their own rights as well as arguably sympathetic. The episode does attempt to present too many varying messages and Strand’s story is intriguing yet disjointed, but the technical beauty and the need to stay united while being pressured from others is compelling viewing. 8.4/10
