Review: American Crime Season 3 Episode 6 “Episode 6”

Individually, these stories have immense potential. Considering the thematic ideas proposed last week and here, with the ideas of moral compromise, assumptions and the invisibility of those abused and tossed out of the system, this season has slowly but surely developed a range of interesting narratives. Unfortunately, the fractured, confusing structure that lacks any direction puts it all to waste. Things happen, and the viewer can identify the implications, but it’s quickly pushed away and a new storyline comes in. Though this is thematically symbolic of the justice system, it simply is not entertaining. Take a few sequences out and the episode develops normally. It seems like a waste of time. 6.9/10
