Review: Feud Season 1 Episode 6 “Hagsploitation”

Actors and directors are simply pieces of a wider puzzle, pushed and prodded to make others happy regardless of the artistic credibility that is devoured. The gimmicks become the main event while the crafts people simply support them. Seeing this progression of cinema come to formation is fascinating, especially considering the current cinematic culture of franchises and merchandising, where there are fewer and fewer character driven stories. While both Joan and Bette’s attempts at keeping composed in opposition to the gimmicks and regulations is slightly repetitive, the humour is upbeat and the episode does a good job at setting up further confrontations. 8.7/10
