Verdict: Quarry Season 1 Episode 2 “Figure Four”

‘Quarry’ continues to excel technically, with both its action sequences and the more raw, quieter and emotional moments being directed incredibly well, with beautiful involving cinematography. However, this episode does focus too much on Mac’s personal downfall and lack of control, and though Logan Marshall-Green can certainly handle it, his  character’s dreary mood does bring the episode down. I hope the show is able to find a greater balance between Mac’s personal life and his new ‘role’ as the show does a fine job of highlighting how they relate and interact, but seems to favour the former. 8.6/10
