Verdict: Fear The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 11 “Pablo and Jessica”

Once again ‘Fear The Walking Dead’s’ lack of structural coherency and multitude of storylines means nothing really has the impact it should as while Nick’s use of his ‘skills’ to protect La Colonia is a nice way of the show getting back to its survivalist roots, this is overshadowed by his forced romance and the episodes slow pace. Furthermore, while Alicia’s increasing competence and ability is making her more and more interesting, becoming a focal point of this seasons back half, the hotel storyline is only making small steps forward with little focus on the future beside generic possibilities. 6.3/10
