Verdict: The Night Of Season 1 Episode 6 “Samson and Delilah”

The transformation of each character, especially Stone and Naz, is given a spotlight in this episode. While Naz continues to follow a predictable, though beautifully realised path, his plot certainly reflects the shows realism and attempts to reflect the true journey of someone in his position. On the other hand Stone is made more sympathetic and his intellect is shown, allowing the audience to invest more into the character. However, the episode is unable to keep a consistent flow or pace, often getting bogged down in material that is obviously irrelevant and more of a red herring while flipping over more intriguing sequences like the court scenes. It’s also disappointing to see a lack of resolution to or little mention of last week’s ending. 9/10
