Review: The Night Of Season 1 Episode 3 “The Dark Crate”

Though there is a lot of plots and characters to follow ‘The Night Of’ harnesses this complexity to accurately portray the intricacy of the justice system through a number of strong and surprisingly interesting storylines such as Box’s speech of why the case must be recorded accurately or Naz’s father’s friends trying to get their taxi back. The exquisite crafting continues to emphasise the show’s immense realism through its depiction of the grimy, dim and battered Riker’s Island while providing multiple angles of the overall arc to make the show absorbing, with nuanced characters that dispel stereotypes. 9.4/10
