Review: Stranger Things Season 1 Episode 7 “The Bathtub”

Though ‘Stranger Things’ continues to impressively balance horror with a nostalgic tone, promoting the overcoming of adversity through some splendid writing for the child cast and more witty, potent material for the adults, a number of stupid character decisions again hurts the legitimacy of this content, as while the tension created is definitely felt, much of it relies upon contrived instances or unoriginal sequences, such as much of the opening and its glaring resemblance again to E.T. 7.5/10
