Review: Stranger Things Season 1 Episode 5 “Chapter Five: The Flea and The Acrobat”

Even though there are still a few sudden character jumps and far fetched ideas while Winona Ryder’s character remains one note, this episode of Stranger Things finally got its pacing right, with some strong story moves and an array on interesting science fiction ideas that make the plot even more tantalising, as the writing was able to make Nancy and Jonothon more relatable, developing them as characters and making them necessary to the overall narrative while the direction and cinematography continues to improve. 8.8/10
