Review: The Do-Over

With a series of unpredictable twists, fairly solid direction and cinematography and a surprisingly pleasant partnership in Sandler and Spade (when they are acting like adults), The Do-Over is certainly better than Sandler’s first Netflix film, The Ridiculous 6, but ultimately its misogynistic view of women, overly long duration (with a dragging second half) and bucket loads of clichés are all off-putting and at some points too offensive and disgusting to be viewable. 2/5
