Review: Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 10 “The Winds of Winter”

The score is truly stunning, perfectly capturing the intense bravado of the episode, but also the more delicate, beautiful moments. This episode is perfect in every sense.  From the production design to the costuming to the acting (particularly Lena Headey) to the visual effects, the authenticity of Game of Thrones to both its fantasy and medieval roots cannot be matched. The direction, writing and cinematography provide a number of unpredictable moments, jaw-dropping deaths, reveals and strong parallels between characters and factions. The potency of each action and sequence highlights that Season 7 cannot come quick enough as Game of Thrones cements itself as the best show on TV. 10/10
