Review: Fear The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 5 “Captive”

With the series’ best cinematography and direction to date, Fear The Walking Dead  bounces back with a tense, brutal and focussed episode, one that gives each character (particularly Nick and Madison) a chance to highlight or clarify their intentions and overall personality after a few episodes of ambiguity and odd changes, however the high tension and brilliantly conveyed stakes is slightly undercut by Alicia and Jack’s rushed relationship and a sudden, underdeveloped subplot revolving Alex. 8.8/10
