Review: The Path Season 1 Episode 7 “Refugees”

While Mary’s story is neither interesting nor particularly effective in developing Cal, who faces many more important and intriguing conflicts in this episode, The Path certainly highlights Meyerism as a community and ensemble, with a great display of diversity and acting talent, rather than having a few main characters with random extras thrown in, unfortunately this episode’s focus on Sarah seems contradictory to her earlier actions and the show seems to add in drama for the sake of it, not earned or organic. 8.2/10
