Review: Game Of Thrones Season 6 Episode 2 “Home”

This a perfect episode to show any aspiring Game Of Thrones viewer as it captures the best and worse parts of the show; the perfect direction, masterfully capturing the tone of each location and overall cinematography, writing that perfectly deals with the thematic undertones of the story while allowing each storyline to transition together, a sense of scale as the show heightens the stakes and focusses on the end game, marvellous acting and shocking reveals and twists, though some sequences (specifically Arya and Sansa’s) are too brief to have impact.  Game Of Thrones is still a fantastic example of high class production and brilliant narrative creating a chessboard of political moves. 9.5/10
