Review: Hush

Using sound to maximum effect, this is a simple but superbly tense film that takes what could be seen as a gimmicky premise and utilises it in it’s craftsmanship, with stunning cinematography and mostly fine direction, and though it’s main character jumps from extremely intelligent to atrociously dumb and the film could have implemented some aspect of background to its villain, Hush is ultimately a surprisingly engrossing film. 3.5/5
