Review: The Jungle Book (2016)

A warm and delightful but surprisingly gritty and suspensful entry into Disney’s live action fairytale collection, The Jungle Book is a beautifully crafted film, with groundbreaking visual effects, perfect direction from Jon Favreau, an enticing cast, and enough poignant (and rather interesting) subject matter to get over the predictable and formuliac story. 4/5
