Review: Better Call Saul Season 2 Episode 4 “Gloves Off”

Without the shows normal humourous flair or narrative urgency, it does feel rather slow, and though the performances allow for some phenomenal character work, as the writers quite brilliantly develop both Jimmy and Mike, while also perfectly incorporating wider issues and thematic ideas, it does feel rather clunky rather than the beautiful, flowing show we are normally presented, however the ending scenes are stunningly shot, and deliver a real sense of Mikes arc. 8.6/10
