Review: Vinyl Season 1 Episode 2 “Yesterday Once More”

The shows structure and narrative focus is about as stable and reasonable as it’s main character, unsure of what it truly wants to be, a character study, a musical, or a soap opera, jumping between scenes with little reasoning, unable to fully explore major themes or ideas, however, the series continues to find perfection with its acting, musical selection as well as its flashback sequences, that while sudden and off-putting at first, become incredibly sophisticated in the way they develop each character. 7.3/10
