Review: Jessica Jones Season 1 Episode 1 “AKA Ladies Night”

Krysten Ritter is phenomonal, beyond anything on TV at the moment, executing her superbly written titular character with the utmost sincerity and honesty yet capturing her flaws and erratic behaviour, this series begins with a near perfect pilot, only damaged by some slow setup scenes yet which is minimal in relation to its visual splendour, the pitch perfect noir tone, a villain that is actually scary and a spectacular commentary on an abundance of themes. 9.5/10
