Review: Master Of None Season 1 Episode 2 “Parents”

With patches of humour coming from perfect acting all round, as well as the brutally honest writing, this episode however can’t live up to the premiere, with the social ideas sometimes being discussed too directly, again lacking subtlety and the flashbacks being overly used, though the overall arc and story the episode finds itself in is again surprisingly heart warming, and highlights the shows wider potential to discuss immigration, but hopefully in a less obvious way. 7.8/10
